2009-2010 Varsity Hockey Captains

Eric Lively is entering his second year as a captain of the Whitman-Hanson squad. Eric is a top two defenseman who logs a lot of minutes for this team. Always a threat to score, Lively is a league all-star who pushes the rush from the defensive side of the puck. Opponents top forwards always have trouble matching up with him, and he has been a constant headache for opposing coaches. You can look for more of the same this season as he enters his senior season. 

Matt Colclough is a senior and a first-time captain of the Whitman-Hanson hockey team. Matt is one of the hardest working players day in and day out for the Panthers, and his hard work has panned out to bring success at the varsity level. Matt has been a top four defenseman for the past few years, and his teammates can put trust in his incredible work ethic. As captain of the Whitman-Hanson football team this year, Matt has helped turn the program around. He will look to obtain similar success this year on the ice.
